Lopön Chandra Easton
Chandra Easton is a Dharma teacher, author, and translator of Tibetan Buddhist texts who has taught Buddhism and Hatha Yoga since 2001. Rooted in Vajrayana and Dzogchen, she focuses on making traditional teachings accessible for contemporary practitioners. She is a Vajra Teacher (Dorje Lopön) at Tara Mandala, teaches internationally, and co-founded the 21 Taras Collective, which created mantra music for her book Embodying Tara. What are the lodging option?
Onsite lodging is available on a first‑come, first‑served basis, with options including private king rooms, tatami‑mat dorms, and onsite camping. Commuter rates are also available. There are many nearby Airbnbs and hotels. A list can be provided upon request.
Are meals included?
Meals are included—primarily vegetarian, with one fish dish—and meal setup and cleanup will be shared by all as seva (selfless service). Breakfast will be self service; lunch and dinner will be provided for us.
What are some of the amenties included?
The venue features a dry sauna, hot tub, and a cold plunge overlooking Tilden Park, offering a deeply restorative environment.
How far is the venue from San Fransisco?
Close to town yet nestled in nature Anza is only 30 minutes from the city and it provides a beautiful sanctuary for our 21 Taras community to gather and practice together for the first time.
